PARKERSBURG—The Health Ministry Initiative of the Sisters of St. Joseph Charitable Fund (SSJCF) gathered a panel of professionals for the “Keeping the Golden Years Golden” workshop Nov. 7 at the activity center at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Parkersburg. “It provided participants with information, resources and reassurance that even though one is aging, he or she can look forward to a productive, fulfilling and joyous future,” said Sister Molly Bauer, CSJ, program director of SSJCF Health Ministry Initiative. “Topics addressed included Aging Well, Preparation, Relationships, Spirituality, Perspective and Today.” The keynote speaker was Dr. Stephan Hanna, a family medicine practitioner with a special interest in senior well-being and aging.
